Well im about tired of my 400ex. Ive had it for almost 5 years now. So im thinking about getting a new one but I cant make a decision. I cant make my mind up between the 450's, raptor 700, pred., or banshee. I guess im kinda of expert rider and i do most of my riding on trails and strip jobs in se ky. I also ride a lil bit on the highway just for fun and race my buddies and im tired of always losing. So which sport quad would be the fastest in a drag race and topend? and also would be a decent trail quad for my needs. Thanks for any input

slap a pipe and filter on the YFZ and you will be winning alot of races

Top end either pred or raptor but quickest accelaration is the yfz 450. each haveing a pipe filter combo. all about the same HP with that setup. Around 43 to 45 hp.

 

Well i have to stay for highways id go with a banshee...throw a pipe, filter and jet kit on there and youll smoke anything...but u said that u ride trails as well then id probably go with a 450r or YFZ450...cuz u put a few mods on that quad and shell haul as well...and they would be better in trails special cuz u owned a 4 stroke your gonna need to rip that banshee in trails. But goin for a 400ex youll see a nice power gain with either quad u end up gettin...either it being a shee or a 450

 

LTR450... that should not even be a question. that quad is badass an you can get a lot of power outta them. i want to sell my kfx an get one.

 

the 450r and yfz dont have reverses that can suck on trails go with the rappy 700 it can move

 

for trail purposes i would get Predator tld, Raptor 700. you got to have reverse for the trails.

 

all i have to say is that my buddy has a yfz and i have never seen it loose to anything (cars, quads or dirtbikes) those thing hall
