yeah i was wondering how these machines compare to each other. Like which machine would out run eachother in the woods,track, whats the difference in top speed and with has faster acceleratrion?? if you could help me out id reallyh appreciate it!!

 

The Raptor is definately faster and has more power. There is no comparison in the top speed category. The Raptor wins by a landslide.
However the 400ex on trails, woods, hills, and tight tracks is awsome due to the low end torque and it's ability to lug at low speed.

 

The Raptor is quite a bit faster through the gears and on top end. I would say they are pretty close through the woods and would have to say that the 400ex is the better track bike.

 

I believe the rappy would win in every cat. Just too much power to overcome (260cc)

 

Top speed the raptor wins by alot. Trail riding they both are pretty good but on the track I like the 400ex. The ex is lighter and handles better.

 

there is no doubt in my mind that the raptor beats the 400 any day on the track may be different but overall the raptor is much faster draggin.

 

if your going to pe pinning it through corners im going to give the nod to the 400 because of its wide track it will handle the corners and the jumps considerably better than the 660 because of its tippy suspension attributes. in all other catagorys i think the 660 would dominate it

 

Basically, the Raptor is faster and the Honda handles better.

 

I know alot of you are saying the 400ex handles better but i do know the raptor power slides very well through turns keeping all its wheels planted so i think it would edge the ex throught the woods but the other way around on a motocross track. Top speed and accel., there is no comparison, 660 wins by a mile.
