I have a Honda TRX 250ex and am too scared to try it. I figure I would need an all-wheel-drive, is this reasonable?

no offence but your quad might not have the power or speed to do it.my friends blaster could do it over some pretty big puddles.ive never tried it either.

Ive done quite a few puddles on the raptor.. Tried one of our ponds on the warrior but the entrance to the water had to much downward momentum and it was disaterous. cartwheeling.

It's been done...I've seen it. I believe you need to be pretty light, hit it just right, distribute your weight just right, and flat out be haulin a$$.
