which do you think is faster the 300ex or the blaster

 

The better rider. They are very close, but in a flat drag the blaster will prolly win by a little bit.

 

Im thinking thet the 300ex might pull away

in a drag the blaster wins by a little but in the trails the 300ex for sure.

I own a 300ex i weigh exactly 180lbs. (i checked my weight friday at school durring fitness training because i was goin to race my buddies blaster) we both weighed he was 135lbs and i was 180lbs we raced 75-90 yards i have a stock bike with some air box and carb mods he had an FMF comeplete system K&N no air box but he doesnt know how to really race ive grew up around racing and i know pretty much all there is to know about drag racing with a clutch and how to run it so u dont give to much or to lil and then not to use the clutch after 1st gear it was a dead even start till i hit about 3rd gear not using the clutch i pulled away from him and won by about 5-6 bike lengths

just thought id write in and tell ya'll that i beat a blaster with my ex and ive always beat him

 

I'd have to say the blaster. I've owned mine since 02 and race it frequently, and no offense but that kid must of been a friggen idiot LOL....but hey maybe you honest to god are that good on a 300 ex. Gotta admit though those blasters are rather peppy aren't they? Bone stock they're running around 55 mph, and the 6 spd trans. is nice. But hey more power to ya if your wipin out blasters that are fixed up...lol......Peace

 

Lets just say i know what im doing [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] Blasters are pretty snappy and the 6th gear is nice the 300ex could and needs a 6th gear it raps out way to fast thats why a guy needs to mess with the gearing a lil bit to get it right along with a few other cheap no money needed carb mods [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I 300ex would be faster my budy races blasers all the time and he all ways Wins.
