wut do yall think of the new 06 400ex...i hear there pretty good bikes and easy to mod if ever wanted to

 

just so you get some sort of answer, I think the 05 and 06 are the same, I like my 05 but I'm semi new in the atv thingy so others could give you more information but unfortunately probably wont.

 

Right. THe 05's and 06's are the same. Also the biggest difference between the 99-04's and 05-06's is a revised transmission with reverse and new 450r styled plastic. The 99-06 400ex's are great quads!

 

the best EX models were from 99-04. the 450r style nose-piece wasnt a good idea IMO, and although reverse is arguably a good addition, its nothing getting off your *** and pulling it back cant do. now im not saying the 05-06 models suck (its almost the same thing), but i would like to have people think im riding a 400ex, not a 450r.

 

It shouldnt matter what people think your riding, you ride to have fun

 

I ride with a guy that has a 99 400ex, 00 400ex, my 02 400ex and a 05 400ex...

The 05 has reverse and looks better but other than that they are all almost identical.
