Full HMF exhaust good?
#1
I am thinking about purchasing a full HMF exhaust for me DVX400 and was curious if it was worth the money. I really like the way they look and sound, just never rode a quad with one before. I know they are a tad loud but that isnt a concern around here. I like how much it costs to, i can get one black for 'bout $420. If there's a better buy please let me know. I'm also looking into buying a CDI too, i found one that had 9 different settings, don't remember the brand atm but it looked good and was curious if putting a CDI on would hurt it in the least bit. Any help would be appreciated

Well sorry guys but i decided to change my mind....I'm just going to purchase a slip-on for financial issues. I'm looking at Dr. D exhaust and curious if it's worth it? I'd imagine they're good because it won the YFZ450 pipe shootout in dirwheels....it'd be that or HMF....which is better? both are looking within 5-10 dollars of each other. Any help would be good and sorry i changed my mind...money just ain't a thing i got bounties of

I changed my mind on HMF too. I've gone to Curtis Sparks Full Exhaust system, K&N intake And Power Commander III with a Pro-tec airbox replacement lid. It will be dynoed and tuned for maximum performance. Should be best you can get without an engine mod. I am spending just over $1000 for this set up. Dixie Custom in St. George, Utah is doing the work and I'll test it out labor day at Sand Mountain.I expect it to get me respectably up the hill. If all is well, Dumont over thansgiving is going to be awesome.
