United Motors MTX-450R

wow, never seen them before
the specs are pretty close to the new kfx450r, engine wise its the same...kawi is fuel injected though
the quaility of work and realiablity of this bike will never match any of the big jap bike makers in my eyes. yet it does give a 3 year powertrain warranty and 12 months on all parts....now THATS a warranty
im betting the frame isnt real strong on these bikes and i dont like the plastics either..plus the tires look usless...but id really like to test it

interesting. possible industrial espionage to have in coincide so closely with what the new kawi offers?
it did say in the 'about us" place that the engines are from a top "korean powersports manufacturer" anyone want to guess about that one?
Its interesting, but im betting its quality is crap compared to the other 450s.
but if winds up NOT being crap then its a decent deal with pretty reasonable weight and reverse...
but where the hell is the nearest dealer if it breaks?

This is true.
I wonder if these are worth a crap though still.
Pictures make it look decent.
Very Z400/KFX400 looking plastics...
In fact, the whole UM lineup "looks" pretty darn nice on the site.

Well, I've spent the last two hours shredding the net for info on the quad.
I gotta tell ya... I'm impressed as far as that goes.
I'll put it this way... I saw a video of one (stock) run down a modified Raptor from over a bike length behind.

OK, this video is short... and the quad is the Goes 450X... which is another brand name the bike is sold under.
It's also the version I prefer due to the color/styling... but it's in Europe.
Anyways, at the first of the video you'll see them coming in from the left... modded 660R on the left, 450X on the right.
I dunno what happened.... maybe a bad start?... But you'll see the 660R over a bike length ahead passing the camera.
Then right after, you see the 450X pull it and blow the doors off the 660R at the end.
You can hear they are NOT backing out of the throttle either.
In my opinion it's quite an impressive walk-off... especially that deep into the drag.
I mean Korean made or not..... you gotta admit it's impressive to see it recover from over a bike length and pull past the raptor in the distance.
Oh, here is the link...
