You're probably right. I suspect is was nothing more than an intellectual hiccup from one of the uncommon folk....

i read an article on it a few days ago and they already have the engine made its on a snowmobile the 500 phazer and its pushin 80hp (yea thats more than sum cars CAUGH geo metro CAUGH) i think the most any of the 450's is pushin stock is not even over 35hp if i remember right all they have to do is regulate the engine to make it EPA legal from what that article said i would love to see it come out i would defently wait and buy one when they came out and i say they will bring the EFI out on this quad too if it makes it to the production line u will be lookin at prolly the fastest quad made out now so i am hopein and prayin that it comes out but i do think they should not call it the 500 banshee hell juss call it the raptor 500 they already have a 350 , 660 , and 700 whats one more gonna hurt

 

oh the paser motor i have been hearing of this i just havent seen picts..any one have picts/place to see some?

 

why did they take away the best twin cylindered 2 stroke bike off market anyways , a friend said ppl will be trading in their old banshee on the new ones i dont think it will be the same with a 4 stroke anyone agree ?

 

well theres no new banshee. why would dirtwheels have information before yamaha even released any, its just another april fools like there 4X4 honda 450R w/ automatic tranny. and the reason they have taken it off the market is due to emissions problems. which his why they got rid of the blaster too.

 

just my 2 pennies, but they can never replace the best 2 stroke quad on the planet with a heavy 4 poke..the government had alot to do with banshee and blaster disseaperance..environmentalists want to do away with all 2 strokes due to air pollution...which i have respect for, but hey, what about the deisel semi's, cars and trucks, trains, and the beat to heck daily drivers that smoke so bad you cant see their tail lights? 4 poke in a banshee?? someone needs their head examined!..LOL

 

oooh thats right it could just be an april fools........... but on the front cover and everything?>??? theres already enough performance quads from yamaha anyways
