Has anyone heard anything about how good the new kfx 450r is sappost be as an all round bike....trails, track, pits

 

I've checked a few of them out downtown at a couple of dealers. I would compare them closly to the other 450's. Mainly made for racing as are the rest of the 450's.

 

My buddy just got one last night. He had to work today, so I got to take out his new ride all morning!

I rode it mostly on some fast fire roads. The seat is as hard as a rock. The suspension is somewhat harsh and tuned for the track...but that can be fixed if one wants to trail ride. It actually will lug a little and isn't geared as tall as my 450R, so I think it has possibilities as a fast trail quad. I liked the steering most. It tracks very nicely! The motor is all corked up in stock form, so it is actually very easy to ride (doesn't have a hit in the middle like the R does).

I wouldn't pick it over my R for the desert, but it has possibilities for the trail.
