Wait for a KTM 525! Should be available soon....
Is there a fuel injected Honda 490 on the horizon????

Why wait ? The Outlaw has the same 510cc KTM Motocross engine already. Not sure why Polaris and KTM call it a 525 though.

While a Polaris may have a KTM engine in it, I would never buy anything on a Polaris frame when in a few months I could get the same engine in a KTM frame! KTM has an outstanding reputation....Polaris doesn't!
That said, I can see how IRS may have applications for some riders that need high ground clearance, yet don't want to be riding some clunky utility. But a real sport quad, has a swingarm and an SRA!

cluny utility? There goes someone again talking about something they know nothing about.

The Outlaw 525s will be lighter and faster than the Outlaw 525 with IRS. And I'm betting the KTM 525 XC will be lighter and faster than either of the Polaris ATVs with the KTM engine in them.

true, the ktm525 and ktm 450 both weigh 356 from what i've read so far.
The polaris 450 weighs 365 and the polaris 525 weighs 375lbs.
However the polaris is probably around 1500cheaper (canadian price is same as ds450 which costs 7500 vs the 9000 of the ktm)
Even if the actual ktms use updated engines, and that ktm just sells their older engines to polaris. for 1500 you could easily make the polaris faster
