i have a raptor 660 and where the clutcch goes into the crankcase the hole right below it where there is a bolt...the hole is stripped out and i was wondering if i could put a helicoil in it or do i hav to replace the whole cover or can i put something there to bond and seal it like jb weld

 

I had the same thing happen to mine, i put a helicoil in but i had tocut the coil down because the bolt is a set screw for the clutch rod.I broke off the bottem tab of the coil put the bolt on the coil then screwed the assembly in till snug. Just remember when you are treading the hole to use grease on the tap and go slowly in and out to keep shavings out of motor GOOD LUCK!!!
