Default YFZ 450 Question

well according to your sig it looks like you already got it, but if you wanted a faster trail built quad id get a raptor 700.

Default YFZ 450 Question

All of the 450's make their power at high rpm's and don't like to be lugged down, so none of them are the ideal trail quad....lots of clutch slipping required. I find the YFZ's stock suspension to be very harsh.

I like the 400EX for the trails, and my 450R for the open desert...

Default YFZ 450 Question

The YFZ is going to be happiest at a spirited riding pace. I actually find the suspenders to be excellent, as long as you are hammering along with the throttle wicked open! If you do a lot of track riding, then a 450 is the best tool. Otherwise there are other great trail quads thast are less hiper. I ride my YFZ for trails a lot, but the past 6 months have used it almost exclusively on tracks.
