Default wheelies??

1st is iffy.. the lower rpms of 2nd work relativly easy...o and easter have you tried preppin the shocks? bounce all your weight on the back and throttle it when it kicks out... it makes the suspension go out and when it comes back its like shortening your quad for a bit making it easier to wheelie without having to pull back as hard

Default wheelies??

I never pop the clutch either , i just give it the throttle and yank on it , i can ride a wheelie prety far but my heavy ds doesnt like to get up to the balance point to well , any tips on helping me get it their faster ? thanks</end quote></div>

yeah use the clutch! i stunt a 929rr and thst has way more power than a 4 wheeler. if you "pop" the clutch you have way more control. always cover the clutch and rear brake unless your doing a highchair or spreader. use the clutch people power wheelies are garbage! if you clutch it up and use the rear brake for stability you can go alot slower and longer.

Default wheelies??

what you got to do is staying the bog also i have felt like im almost going over and i want to flip it so i check the tire pressure and one wheel was at 5 the other tire was at 3 so you can see where im going with this.

Default wheelies??

Popping the clutch is a little bit easier if your back tires have good grip but not so great on the engine. I just get on the throttle a bit to get mine up. I started riding wheelies on my 400EX when I was 13 and I went past the balancing point and have fallen but once you practice enough, you'll be able to ride right w/ the balance point. I'm now 16 and haven't fell for so long so you'll get it.

Just me, but seat position has a lot to do with wheelies. The stiffness of the rear shock also.( the softer the rear the easier to get up and up to balance point). But the key to maintaining is using the rear brake as well as the throttle. Just slowly start moving in first and gun it while droping the clutch in second. You'll get there. z's are great wheelie bikes.

The z400 is one of the easiest quads to balance in a wheelie... (the balance point isn't half as high as say my yfz) Stop practicing with your knee on the seat... Try a few while standing up... then start trying them sitting down... keep your right foot over the brake... if you feel like you're going past the balance point, just tap the brake. I've gone to the grab bar before w/ the yfz... (went thru a couple grab bars that way) It's not the end of the world... If you're moving fast enough, you can tap the brake and bring it from the grab bar to all 4 wheels without having to get up off the bike. The trick to good wheelies is to start in a low gear to pull the front up via throttle and then quickly shift to the next gear to mellow out the acceleration...

Default wheelies??

Hey i would try to put your knee on the seat and your foot in the grab bar and gas it. keep doing that you will probably stand it up a couple times but figure out about the angle where you feel comfortable at and start sitting down and doing it. i stood mine up on its *** end about 15 times before i finnaly got it. but normally it wont fall back on you. But ya grow some *****. haha. you can tap your foot brake and it will put the front down a little bit.

Default wheelies??

ok i own a z400 i found out for short distance wheelies that second is ok but will rev out fast so third is good for long distance. dont pop the clutch just practice really pulling up and punching it at the same time. and you got go way up to find the balance point. try to find it in first gear a couple times till u get cofortable

best of luck let me no if it helped
