Default how is the 2007 raptor 700r

im am looking into buying a 2007 raptor 700r, are they good for riding in sand pits and just messing around, i also hit small jumps and small track, i want a powerful fast quad that is good all around, im 6 feet 245lbs

It does not get any better than the 700 as a allaround/play quad!

you might have some problems on the track, all raptors like to tip over on corners unless you want to POUR money into it on suspention upgrades.

The 660 was notorious for this problem but not the 700's I would take a stock 700 anywhere a stock 450 can and will go (with the exeption of the biggest tracks) and just as fast!

I have never liked the Raptor's ergonomics. This is of course personal, but I find it quite dramatic. Ride one before you buy!

While the Raptor is a torque monster down low, it falls a little flat on the top end (in stock form at least). I don't like how they jump, compared to the 450's or even my 400EX.

personaly i dont like the 700 i would rather spend 1500 and have a perfectly good raptor 660 and yes i now they might be tipsey but i can get upgrades
but yea if you want to blow 4000 on a new 700 go ahead

The Raptor 700 quads are Awesome all around machines! I have a lot of buds that ride the **** out of them, and jump 30+ ft. jumps all the time and they jump great!! I say Go for it!! You won't regret it!
