Those 4 are so close right now it's hard to say which is better aside from an opinion. IMO I think Can-am and KTM are leaps ahead of any of the big 4 right now as far as options, technology, and HP. The newest YFZ is a pretty cool machine as well though with the newest upgrades.

From what I've read I want to give the new yfz450R some seat time and I want to ride a KTM so bad I can taste it.

Look, we don't know what conditions he rides in so why are (some of) you saying which ones he should go with if we don't even know where he rides?
And I don't know why everyones going crazy over the YFZ450R.... I mean the LTR has been doing the same thing as the YFZ450R since 06.... both have EFI, and are 50 inches wide.....

Because the ltr has had some issues in it's short tenier as a 450,efi has had issues.The reason everyone is freaking out about it is because the yfz is the all around 450,you can race it in most conditions and it's a proven winner the ltr has yet to win a championship. Just wait for the updated trx to come out I'm sure in a future gncc race we will see John Natalie Jr. aboard a new trx.
