Default would these atv's be bad for trail riding

I just can't believe how heavy the 700xx is I wish honda would have tried to make it a little lighter. I might get a lighter quad when i buy my next one something like a 400ex or one of the older raptor 660's or something along those lines. but i'm going to stick with my 250ex for a little while longer. at least until this economy thing gets better. i hope it gets better soon cause the way it's going now sucks. all you hear about on the news lately is a bunch of crooks. but I will keep looking maybe I can pick up a 400ex on the cheap somewhere that's still in good condition. and thanks for all your help guys.

Don't forget about the Suzuki Z400. Esp the 09 with EFI great all around bike. Think of it as a smaller Raptor LOL!

yeah I have added the 09 z400 to my list and there's a guy about 60 miles away that.t trying to sell his z400 so I might have to cal him and ask him some questions about it like what year it is and if it's fuel injected. There use to be a can-am dealer about an hour away from where I live but I tried to call them yesterday but there number has been disconnected. so that sucks.

You can shed about 50 pounds just by changing the exhaust and the rear wheels from stock. Just an FYI.

The z400's are really nice, I wait on a friend with on one the trails all the time.

i will have to see if I get enough back on my income tax to be able to pay off my current atv. then I can start to save for a good used one. cause I would like to have my 250 paid off before I buy a new one. just in case my job goes south, it's been really slow lately. But my new one will probably be one of these three a raptor 700,trx 400ex, z400. i don't know which one I will get but it will probably be one of those three.
