IMO loud pipes just tick people off and hurt ATVing in general, so i would be very apreciative if i could find a way to quiet down my lt230.

it has a cobra megaphone exhaust on it, with internal spark assertor. its not bad at idol but when you rev it you go deaf. i tried makeing a baffel out of exhaust pipe but did nothing... would placeing packing, from a repacking kit, in the exhaust quiet it down any?

P.S. the only other exhaust kit i can find for the mechine is $160 and i doubt it will be any quieter

 

Does HMF make their QRS exhaust for it? From what I hear it is fairly quiet, even compared to stock. There are always lots on ebay for the LTR450... not sure about the LT230 though.

 

its an 85 so not a whole lot of selection out there. i have hmf on my foreman and i love it...if they made on for my 230 i would buy it.
