I am stuck between 2 atvs, I can get a 2009 yfz450r SE for $4,000, or I can save some money and go with a all stock 2008 kfx450r SE for $3,100. I mainly ride trails, with some occasional track and dune trip mixed in. I am coming of a raptor 350, but am a very agressive rider on the 350. To me the yfz felt a little more comfortable than the kfx, but with the money I save I can get a quadtech seat kit. are there any Issues with the models of quads I am looking at? sorry for the choppy post buy basically, I can sacrifice comfort, and suspension for cost, or get the whole package for about grand more? Pros and cons of each and what would you guys do? I am 15 years old 5,6 160-165lbs so I'm no toothpick.

 

Neither are the best for trails, you have to ride them like a 2 stroke, but if you are good enough it shouldn't be a problem. I'd go with the Yamaha, I never see Kawasaki race quads anywhere, must be a reason for that. My experience with Kawasaki was sour, had a KX250F for awhile and it was junk. Really sucks cuz I love Kawasaki lime green, if only I could find lime green plastics for my 400ex.
