Default Looking at buying...need opinions

So I have always owned atv-atc's growing up. Been out of it for about 5 yrs now. I just bought my boys a yamaha 80 raptor used. Runs and looks new for 1525....they had it listed for 1695. Now I need one. I found an 05 Suzuki LTZ400. Anyone know of any problems? Its always been garage kept and plastics look like its never been in the woods. No marks of any kind. The place was asking 2795...but we have a verbal if I come back tomorrow it will be 2550. I got on NADA guide and its below avg retail.

Any opinions? I couldn't find anything major on the ltz 400 nor the raptor that was life shattering problems other than wear and tear repairs

The z400 is a good all around sport quad. Torn down 2 to replace the cam chain but they were well used, ticked like a ****.
Price is regional but 2500 is ballpark.

The Z is a great quad, and one that will serve you well. Somewhere around that year Suzuki switched to a magnesium clutch cover that gave them some issues with corrosion/failures. Suzuki was replacing them at one time. I would check to make sure it has the aluminum cover. Of course try and determine that all the bearings/bushings are good. $2550.00 for a clean '05 isn't bad if it is at a dealer.
