I did a Web racing cam, K&N filter and a 5 degree timing advance key and a Dynojet Stage 1 kit on my old 2001 Arctic Cat 500 (Suzuki motor) . With those mods and 30" Mudzillas (heavy) top speed went from 52 mph to 64 mph gps. Might have gone faster, but the tach was at 8,500 in top gear. It was a bit quicker than with the 25" stock tires. Then I ran it on a Mustang Dyno , 29.9 rwhp, but the torque was pretty impressive at 50 ft/lbs. Dyno operator said the loss factor from flywheel to rwhp is at least 20%, probably more like 25%. Stock, they were only rated at 32 fwhp. So 40hp X .75 =30 rwhp. Optimistically I went from 32hp to 39.5 or so. It really woke it up!
