I am wanting to buy this 1988 banshee, but the engine is in pieces, but I am decent at rebuilding engines, especially 2 strokes, but I have been pricing already running banshees, and prices are all over the place, anyways he is asking 2 grand for this, I think that’s a little much, but what would you guys pay not knowing if it needs a crankshaft, and with stock pipes and engine.

You're probably going to see answers just like the price of one running. All over the place. My opinion, since it has no guarantees it won't need a lot of work, $1000 at the most. Also know I'm cheap. The prices really are all over the place, if any are by you, how much are the running ones going for?

Again, my opinion and I'm cheap. Especially on something not running and aren't 100% sure all the parts will be there.
