I just bought a used '00 warrior and im not even shur if there any mods to the engine and i wouldnt recognize them if there were any. The only noticeable one i see is a k&n air filter. As far as the rest of the quad there are shock covers all around, full skid plate, and front bumper. I would like some specific things i could do to it to make it faster, while keeping reliability. I would also like to know of any problem areas or things that tend to break on the warrior that i can look for. This is my first quad so id like it to last and have fun on it!!!!!!!!!! There is alos a knocking coming from the engine when in idle i can hear it after it warms up?, and there is a slight vibration when the clutch is all the way let out in idle? Any info would be appreciated!

I'd put a nice aftermarket pipe on it, Bars, Nerfs, bigger jets, carb vent system, bigger springs, lower profile tires and rims, axle, gas shocks, a-arms, swingarm, wheel spacers, prefilter, steering stem, steering stabilizer, teather after all the ponies u will be kikin out u will want it then. lata

White Bros Pro Meg. As far as the engine problems, I wouldn't ride it until someone who knows what they are talking about looks at it. Like a dealer or someone.

Don't worry about the engine noise. ALL Warriors do that, even my '02. The only thing you should check on the engine is the valve clearance. It has to be checked and adjusted about once a year. Best let a dealer do it. Make sure the filter is sealing properly to the airbox, or better yet get a Pro Design Pro Flow kit on there. It seems like the previous owner took care of it by adding those upgrades mentioned, which is a good sign. Get a 14 tooth front sprocket on there, and add a silencer for sure. Warriors are tough quads, so maintain it properly and RIDE it.

the best performence mod you can do to a warrior is put a bigger sprocket on the front just and one tooth, they say that will make the biggest diffrence.

Reverse your front and back rims to get a little more width for better handling.
To do the front you'll have to get some short vave stems or drill a new hole and fill in the other side.
