There were three Suzuki z400's for sale in our local classifieds two weeks ago. I don't know the reason for selling but my guess would be financial instability. Maybe the owners were disappointed with the Z? Who know's the reason why! There's a lot of different machines for sale, not just Raptors.

Maybe true but all the craptors i ride with carry tow straps so i can drag the dead remains back to the trailer after the tranny/one way starter gear/axle/carbs decide to blow up on them [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img] but hey no ones perfect. You stated that where you ride is all craptors, yea cause they are a dime a dozen and all the &quot;suckers&quot; went out and bought a bike that has a worse reliability record than a 1983 Yugo. tranny grenades&quot;i seen it live&quot; carbs boots blow&quot; again got burned reattaching them. &quot;Bent axle&quot; cmon need i reply? and the one way starter gear vaporizes faster than Rosie o'donnell can inhale a box of Krispy Kremes. Don't get cranky cause you own one, the bikes got great power and looks, but in NO WAYgonna be on top as a quality made machine without dumping 2k in it to fix the factory defects while all i spent was $1.89 to fix a collapsing air hose on my bike.Hey i love yama, the shee rocks and i own a streetbike built by them but a raptor is not on my christmas list.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

wow what an attack dude! my family has three [3] raptors and we have had problems zero. and two of the three are young guys, ridin like crazy..... so...
if ya dont like em cool. bring your DS out to central oroegon,.... and it WILL draw a crowd, guaranteed. thats becuase nobody knows what one looks like. not a slam, a fact.
and i think brent may be right about payments, interest, etc,etc, as its coolin off. nobody wants to pay for sumthin that sits for 6 months, inless its a boat perhaps....and the economy is crapping out again, of course.
Well, thats when WE ride! its cool outside, but not in a snowmobile suit.. theres plenty of desert and scrub and forest,no dust, and the cooler stays cold on its own. not so bad. plus, all the tourists are up on the mountain slopes doing their thing... leaving us alone....
so if ya wanna ride, lets ride, but no reason to slam my choice. i dont laugh when the waitress brings you your dinner.... lifes tooo short...lets go ridin!

raptor8, it was more of a personal attack on warrior007 to spin him up than the bike in general, i'll say it again the bike is mean looking and i love the low end power and it's fun to ride. I chose the DS cause i had the chance to ride both and my bike is better suited and more comfortable to ride. All in all opinions are like as$holes,everybody's got one

I have seen numerous adds for Raptors, saying that it was to much for the owner and wanted something less powerful. So I guess that it might not be all bad.
