Has anyone been watching the Dakkar? I thought at one time that quads had a class to race in.. I'm almost sure that a Quadzilla raced in one... it's been a few years but did they class the quads out?

There are plenty of quads running this year (11-12).

Bombardier is doing well.

I was watching it like yeasterday and they mentioned something about a honda 1100 motor in 1 of the ds's, is this true?

 

I believe so,,,,I heard them say 4 cylinder!!

 

The coverage that I have seen so far has been kind of lame. Spped Channel is pretty good about covering these types of events but there's thousands of miles and only so many cameramen. I saw the DS for a moment and they said 4 cylinder 4 stroke motor??? Not sure if they were correct or not. Too bad thecoverage wasn't better - especially the coverage of the quads.
