i live in iowa and in cold weather riding i recommend gettins some like rocky boots or some sort of insilated boot and put those hand foot warmers in the toe. and some nice wool shocks and wear a pair of good breatable cotton socks under them... for the hands get some of thouse atv/snowmobile mitten things that go over ther grips and levers and everying and wear some good gloves... and put some of those handwarmers in them also... i would also recommend get soem hand warmers that u use fuel sticks or lighter fluid they work great to warm... anyting else ya need to know about clothin for cold weather let me know

Thanks lets keep the ideas coming, I think I will have to bend my shifter arm because I extended it as much as I think I can. I have the foot wear figured out. Going to try the mittens covers that go over handle bars with those shake up packets. And then I can wear a thinner glove. Not to pic on 2000 IA Warrior. But they need a spell check on this stuff. Well good riding to all in the cold.

Yes the mittens should work. They dont look very cool on the big sport machine but when is it cool to freeze you fingers off. Suziki you ever ride up near northwest wis douglass county.

I have used the old man covers before and they worked great, rode the atv trails south of pelican lake in wisconson, kinda fun but you will definatly need a map and note book or gps. its like a bunch of pretzils hooked together.lol

The best thing for your feet in the snow are wool socks. Wool will keep your feet warm even if the socks are wet. You could try heated grips and those things that attach to the handlebars that look like socks.
