the x is faster than the ex but the ex is new

 

Yah but you gotta remember, a honda is always a reliable quad nomatter how old it is, a 250ex is a stinky shaft and auto clutch, a 250x i think would be better.

 

i have a 250ex i good for me it could hit 54 mph for me but it depends on you weight i think a 250ex also handles better but thats me

hey my buddy had a 87 250x and my other buddy just bought a 2001 honda 250 ex now the track difference 250x kicked butt ex sucked dragging the x beat on the long run but since u didnt have to clutch the ex took it out the hole by far the x is a better machine all around
its more like a 300 ex my buddy raced another friends 300 ex and actually the x to the 300 ex to the cleaners

 

the 250x is a nice trail bike and the 250ex is a great pit bike or for little kids to practice on. top speeds are 47mph for the 250ex and 56mph for the 250x acording to atv riders mag

If you are wondering about a 300ex or a warrior..........go with the warrior. I have had both and still have my 300ex, had to sell the warrior. The warrior is faster, better handling (to me). I had my warrior set up for 100 yd drag races. It would run at least 5.0's........it would kill most stock banshee's. It was never beaten by a 400ex.

I think the warrior is a way better quad than the 300ex, 250x, or 250ex
