Default kfx400 vs. warrior 350

The z/kfx400 will waste a warrior. I can take a piped and jetted warrior easily, but a z/kfx400 will easliy beat me so do the math

i own a 1987 warrior, i raced a 400 in the trails, it was ahead of me the hole time but not by alot.
in trails the warrior is not to bad...but if u where to race on a straight road the 400 would own the warrior....and the reason i think i was keepin up with the 400 was becasue of the rider he might have been new to 4 wheelers.....and i had 2 people on with me so...most likly it was because the rider on the 400 was a noobie rider lol

Just because the bike is fast, doesn't mean that YOU are! I've passed Raptors and bikes because the riders only new how to go fast in a straight line.

It's useless to point this out to some people, but a lesser HP quad can win a race if it involves some skill from the rider. A drag race is different. I can prove that a Warrior can stay with or beat a KFX 400 in the woods.

welderboy- Have these two guys race and then tell us who wins and what type of race it was. We know the 400 will win in a drag, but what would you expect when one quad has more HP?
you were riding in a poker rally, not a xc race. it was believable until you said you and your buddy on a trail boss passed banshees and raptors. That is something to brag about, yup, passed some quads in a poker rally that were not even racing. I do believe that being a good driver makes a differance, but 25 years experience don't make trailbosses faster than raptors...

I have a Warrior and I'll be the first to admit that I had a Z smoke me very badly, both on the trail (not by much) and on the MX track (by a looooong way). But not all of us have the money to have the best stuff, so we stick with the old 80's tanks .

I think some of you are thinking that a drag race is a real test of skill. If that's the case, then you must not be a very good rider. Think about this, anyone capable of shifting a quad can drag race...you see that all the time.

Put the quads in the woods and then you'll see the difference in the rider's skill. How can you argue with that? (I'm sure you will hondabest0nearth)

Posts like this suck because they are so biased and people are too closed minded to think about different criteria.
