ok i just got a 2001 banshee a few days ago. all stock which is good. i raced my friends 400ex but couldnt get traction 1st through 4th. so we did roll ons. i STILL spun. anyway i easily win with traction. i also passed it out in 5th.

 

so you're trying to say that you couldnt get traction through 4 gears?
what, are you racing on ice?

stock banshee mind you, it aint a trinity banshee(which would still hook up by 4th gear)
sounds to me like your friend knows how to ride and, well, you dont buddy.

yea sounds like your buddy on the ex is a great rider

 

call it what u want. im not saying i was spinning wildly, but it still hindered performance. plus it has stock tires with 50% tread. and no hes not that great of a rider, just didnt spin an ounce. and prospective buyer, stop being a baby cause i said im not a fan of raptors, cause frankly dont tell me how i ride and until u see me, u cant say otherwise. besides if u knew quads, why would u ask anybody what YOU should get. sorry but cant you atleast make that decision? and i passed it out in 5th while he was topped out in 5th. why is that hard to believe? also the snow just melted too that day so it might of been slightly wet but it still spun slightly NOT WILDLY[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img] ok. so stop telling me what MY quad did on THAT day. and if that trinity banshee wont spin in 4th you better take it back bud

hmmmm. i dont see it saying that? o wait IT DOSENT! i still had him even when i was spinning. but once i got COMPLETE traction i blew him off.

 

The shee should easily win in just about any situation. Banshees are an entirely different kind of quad, a totally different kind of power and it takes a lot to get used to them. So its very understandable that you were spinning so badly. Give it some time and soon you will be running down stock rappys.

 

exactly. ive learned second is a good gear to start on loose conditions. i will try it on hard top next. finally someone who understands. plus we were on pavement but there was little stones on it in some spots.
