what should i get

nobody can really answer that question but you. the rest of us can give suggestions, but we need more info on you, what riding kind of you do, your height/weight & riding ability. they're both great machines and loads of fun... if those were my only two choices, i'd like the KFX.

I own a raptor and have ridden a kfx, I like both, but I have a little problem of being addicted to power so raptor is a little better for me, but the kfx does handle better in my opinion, and at the end of the day you should be happy with either quad.

In my opinion, either bike would be a great choice, but given the raptor retails for almost a grand over the KFX, my money would be on the Kawasaki. Just think of the great mods you can do to it with the $$$ you save.

As a matter of fact the kfx is better on trails but the raptor is better in the sand and in a straight line and it ain't to far behind the kfx and z400 on trails. It definitly has more power I'll agree but the front end wants to pull up bad but if you can ride very well you can easily compensate for this. It's really tippy to (the raptor) but once again you can remedy this by just getting used to it. Either one is fun the raptor looks a lot meaner.

Oh yeah the raptor is at least a thousand dollars more (which I'm sure you already knew). You'd have a thousand dollars to do whatever with the kfx though. Damn this is confusing, I'm glad I already decided on my machine (I think!). z400

That might help, but it's where the motor is placed that makes it tippy. A skilled rider can overcome it but another equally skilled rider can beat that same skilled rider on a better handling quad like a predator or z400 on trails or where there are lots of sharp curves that you need to slide the quad.
