#1
Im rebuilding my lt500 from top to bottom and im replacing all bearings. For the a-arms. there are many kits available but im not sure of what exactly i need. I need some advise on this one. Do i need to purchase these bushings as well as bearings? clicky These are ECP plastic bushings . This would be for a 87 ZILLA. Im not too sure on this one....and before i go spending well earned money on things i dont need, i want to check in on what you guys and gals think.

Hey ZigZilla,
I just bought bearings for my swing arm from Pivot works for $50.00 compared to $250.00 at the Suzuki dealership. I don't know the difference between bearing and bushing.
Here is the link to pivot works for A arms...

Thanks for the input guys. donzilla, thats what i thought . I wasnt sure if these plastic bushings replaced the bearings or not. I wonder how well they actually work. They seem to state that they will out perform and outlast normal bearings. I'm not sure which route i want to take here. Thanks for the input though guys (theTICK and donzilla)

I got mine from Helm Enterprises. He also makes them for the lower end of the shocks. In fact, when I first bought the A-arm bushings he didn't have anything for the shocks, so I sent him a shock and he was able to make them and now sells them. So I have them in my A-arms and lower front and rear shocks. His number is:717-334-4647 and I think he has a website now at www.atvbushings.com. I highly recommend them!

I put those bronze bushings in my a arms a year or so ago. They work good and don't show any signs of wear. I think I got them from RAD Racing for 50 bucks. Suzuki parts are just too high.
