I have a new 400z and when I'm at low speeds or low rpm's in a certain gear my suzuki kind of has a rattling sound. There's also some kind of weird squeaking in the rear end. I'm new to the high performance quads so I don't now if the rattling noise witch seems to come from under the gas tank and kind of makes the gas tank shake is a normal sound on a quad like this or not. Also does anyone know what the top speed is on the 400z and how many horses it makes stock? Thanks for any info.

 

it shouldnt rattle . the z has 28.5 horses stock and tops out at about 68-70mph

 

I had a lot of weird sounds that went away as the bike broke in. I would give it some time before you start to worry.

 

Thanks reconranger.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I mean it runs fine and eveything but when you pay over 5000 dollars to play on something it kind of makes you nervous. I'm sure you're right and it will be fine. I also have a little squeaking noise in the rear I hope that's just it needing to be broke in also. Thanks both of you guys.
