Do you have to dig-bore the motor to get use of the Hot Cams. Will they help or hender a stock bore. What about the head? Thanks, Jared

From my experience working with motors, you don't have to bore to use a bigger cam, it would help the performance on a stock bore, either way boring or not it would be wise to get stronger valve springs and maybe new valves.

That's just my opinion I could be wrong.

When you do cams you MUST get stiffer valve springs, stronger retainors, and not sure on the z400 but hard weld rocker arms are a must as well.

Its not as simple as dropping a cam in if you want it to work forever.
