I took out one so ic ould get my quad now and not in a few months. I just sent in my pay off check to Suzuki today for 4237.38. It feels good to own my quad. I was so nervous about it.

I just wonder how many people have done this as well. If so how could suzuki make any money? i paid mine off after a month, made one payment of 85 dollars...

 

Most people who finance a bike woln't pay it off that quickly. In your case they didn't make anything but probably $80 from your first payment and obviously they made a profit from the bike you purchased with the Suzuki name on it. The economy is tough so these companies are doing everything possible to continue to sell products even if that means making less per unit.

Mine is financed for 4 years but will be paid off in 2 as I always pay more then the minimum amount to hit on the principal loan amount. After buying my first home in December I just didn't have the cash on hand to do it in January but really wanted the quad. Thats what financing is for right? Not me. I hate making payments. Thats why I ride older quads.

 

Got a house payment. Everything else is mine.

 

Most likely even Suzuki financing is farmed out through another company. Suzuki may be involved, or may get a small cut but even if 'zuki makes zero dollars on the financing, just having the financing available helps them to make many sales of ATV's that would not have happened without it.

I buy my quads outright or not at all.
