interchanging 400ex shocks with a lt?

Default interchanging 400ex shocks with a lt?

i just stripped my frame so i could paint it and noticed my rear shock is bent and my front shocks arnt stiff enough for me and ive seen it done before but i want to make sure so can i put 400ex shocks on my 92 lt all the way around with no problmes.

Tom, I haven't tried 400EX shocks, but I have used TRX250R shocks up front on mine once when I blew a shock out racing. They will fit, but it picks the front of the quad up a bit because they are longer. It will work though. As far as the rear shock, I haven't a clue, give it a try and see.

well i will try the front shocks but i dont want to buy a rear shocks that i cant use.

the rear shock config is weird on the LT the 86-89 has the cusion arm and honda shocks wont work on them at all, ive never seen and 90 and beyond shock i think its longer, from pics just watch out for mounting and length and the res

come on guys gals someone must havr changed out the rear shock for one off a 400ex will it work or not on a 91 and up style suspension
