Default Z400 Pipe install help

I am trying to get my new PC full exhaust installed and I have already run into a problem. I can't get me stock pipe out. Before I start removing things from the motor (radiator hoses & fan parts) I was wondering what I need to remove. Also I have heard the PC pipe is a tight fit. Any help would be great.
Thanks

Default Z400 Pipe install help

what do u mean you cant get the pipe off?? it wont come off the motor or the slip on wont come off? If slip on wont come off then u might want to heat that portion of the pipe with a torch or even start it up and let it idle and get warm. but then everythign will be warm. I know that dirtwheels mag did a test and they might have some help there. You can goto www.dirtwheelsmag.com if y want and read that. hope this helps.

If you are talking about removing the stock headpipe, it is a pain...It can be removed by taking off the lower radiator hose, not you will lose you coolant from the radiator... You can catch it in a pan and reuse it or just simply add more once you remove and install the new pipe....

Default Z400 Pipe install help

Yeh the silencer came off no problem, and the pipe came out of the motor just as easy, but getting the pipe out from between the motor and the frame is a pain is the a$$. So once I have the lower radiator hose off, will that make it easier to get the PC Pipe installed or do I nee to disconnect even more?
Thanks

nah you should be fine just like that...you might have to be creative in the way you manuver the head pipe in there, but you shouldn't have to remove anything else

You dont have to remove anything to remove the head pipe or to reinstall a new one just go to the other side of the machine (shifter side and it will come to you (learned the hard way myself) just slides right out with no problem.
