Is this a good price for a z????? HELP

Be very careful, I think. Look it over up and down. See how well it looks like it's been taken care of. Ride it listen to it in all gears. Listen to it through the whole rpm range. CHECK THE FRAME all over. I've defended the frame so much because mine has been good but with the many guys that bad mouth it makes you have to check it just to be sure. Look under the handlebars were the shock mounts are check all the welds around there to look for cracks or chipping in paint. Check the frame all over just to be safe. Take the seat off and look at the air filter and how clean it is. If you have a really knowledgeble friend or family member with quads take them and have them ride it and look it over. O.k. yes this is in my opinion a GREAT price since this model still sells for $5699 new. I would just be wary and wonder why he's getting rid of it. I don't guess it's unbeleivably priced but it's a little low in my opinion. MAKE SURE he has the title.

I agree that you should check everything over to be safe. Sometimes when someone prices something a little lower it makes you wonder why. (Even if there isn't anything wrong with it.) If you don't feel comfortable trying to find problem areas yourself then try to take a friend with you.
Try not to get too excited about the price and the quad in general. Sometimes when a person gets too excited it blinds them to little hints the seller might be putting out. (about possible problem areas) Maybe the person just needs to get out of a loan, needs cash or wants to buy a new Yamaha quick.
If they don't have a title then get the numbers off the frame if possible. If there aren't any numbers then report the quad to the police. You might be able to help someone get back their stolen quad. Just a thought.
Hopefully it's just simply a decent deal.

I think good deal then man, but remember I bought mine new so that $1900 you're saving sounds nice to me. I know the price drops when you leave the shop but still most used ones around here are still selling for over $5000. I think I seen one that rolled down a hill and was good except for plastic and he wanted $4200. So I might check it out, there really great bikes and fun.

I agree with Coyotechaser on all points. I hate being a rat and stuff but quads are special to all of us and we all probably know or know of people who have had them stolen so I wouldn't hesitate to report one to the police if it doesn't check out. If it checks out and is in the condition he says I'd buy it.
