Hi,
I'm trying decide whether to buy a Vinson 500 Auto or a Kodiac 450. My main considerations are ride/handling, reliability, features, and price. I would appreciate any comparison comments, or comments on either ATV.

I got my vinson for 1000 less than I could a kodiak, so that made my mind up for me.

 

You got a good deal on that Vinson! They are both like 6299 MSRP....

 

I picked it up for 5200 for the auto
they wanted about msrp for the kodiak.

 

I am looking at the Vinson as well. Might not get as good a deal as you did but i should do okay. I am getting the manual shift though....

 

I had plans on getting the manual, but for the price, i couldnt say no to the auto.

 

You raised some curiousity from me because of your call sign refers to Polaris. I assume you own a Polaris! Which do you Prefer the SUzuki or the Polaris

 

i know for a fact kodiak is twice as better for trailing etc

 

what are you're "facts"????

I believe, based on everything i've read, that a auto or manual vinson will walk all over a kodiak 450 in almost every area.

What dealer gave you such a great deal? I live in North East Ohio, where is Chillicothe Ohio? Thanks to you and everyone so far for the info. To my surprise, a couple of post on the yamaha forum has also recommended the Vinson.
