I havent purchased an ATV yet, but am 80% sure that I want the z400. Im open to your thoughts.

Also, I want to know whats the best breathing system for the z400. Im eyeing the FMF or Yoshimura. Thoughts?

I think that'd be a great quad. Both of those pipe systems work great and are about equal. I'd get a full system if you canafford it, if not just get a slip on.

 

Full system? how far up from the pipe can you go on atv's? sorry, if you cant tell, im a newbie to this. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

 

hey get the z you'll love it i just got my kfx400last wednesday and rolled it on black top racing and got in loose gravel in a turn and side out into the bank and rolled 5 or 6 times on the quad and i have really bad cuts and road rash cause i had on shorts and sandles and it cracked the back of my helmet open and the blacktop ate the palstic right off but i was knocked out and in convultions and didn't remeber a thing till that night which was last nigth and everyone exlain the wreck to me and they had to take me in an ambulence and things and i am really sore and things right now and for rolling with the 5 or 6 times the quad jsut some scrathes on the fenders due to me holding on and taking all the damage! well get the z400 but just take your time and don't open it up till you are fully use to! best of luck!

If you are set on a four stroke az400 sounds like they are pretty "nice". lol . A guy on ebay is selling an 91 lt250r it looks like the cleanest one ive ever seen . Hes asking around 3200 for it. For this price you could upgrade like crazy and still be in it less than the z400. MIne is worth about 4500 and it smokes alot of other bikes. ATleast check it out and see what you think , i wish i would have got it.
