One of my riding buddies just blew his up and is parting out the quad. No major damage, he just got tired of messing with it.

 

would he want to sell it? whole engine not rebuilt just as is

He said he'd sell the engine, carb, and any electrical pieces if you are interested. Its an '86 model and ran good until he sucked some water into the motor. If you're interested, he said he'd go out and pull the cylinder off and make sure there's no serious damage.

 

i am interested would he have a price? casue i need a enging i got all the topend compants but just as long as the crank and case is good

 

any body else haev a engine could even be apart i just need casign and botom end and head i got jug and piston

 

hey dude i got an 88 lt230 i had bored 60 over and i was runin wiseco pistons and it shot my connecting rod through my cylinder and split it but the valves r new all it needs is to be re sleeved and needs new piston and connecting rod id work with you on the price.

 

What year quad does this guy have, because if he has an 85/86, the 87 and later motors wont work for him.

 

i was going to ask about the year also , because u said u already have the top end ?? the quad racer engines were different in 86 compared to the newer ones.

 

ya because if its a 85/86 the pipes dont fit the same as the 87-92s
