Default Vinson Clearance Problem with 27" Tires

I Just placed 27" Mud machine tires on My Vinson and they look Great. The problem is clearance when cornering the tire comes in contact with the front Fender Support. Does anyone know of any after market solutions to this problem? I do not believe a lift kit will cure this problem. I am currently modifying the support by moving it back about 3/4" This is a semi major Task. ANy one out there with experience with these matters? Any comments welcome!!
Thanks

I assume your bike is a 5 speed if your haveing problems with clearance in the front. What kind of wheels do you have?I ran 27"Bi-Claws on stock wheels on my 5 speed with no problem, but they will not work with C-Series wheels..Try adjusting your shock up,that should cure your problem.

My wife is running 27" Mudlites on her '03 Vinson Auto. As far as I can tell, the tires have plenty of clearance. They are mounted on stock rims.

The Auto Vinson will clear 28's because they dont have the added floorboard brace the 5 speed Vinson has!
