I have heard a little birdy chirping something to the effect that Suzuki was working on a 800cc IRS fully lockable front end quad. Any one on the Suzuk side of the house have any ideas to the validity of the storys. I would be interested if were true.

I will ask someone I know at Suzuki.... at this point in time, I have not heard anything.... I was under the impression the kfx700 was the big bore toy..... It's possible what you say is true, but I venture to guess if there is any truth to this, it be an upgraded version of the kfx700

I heard the same too. I just don't want them to make a Z700 copycat of the V Force. That would suck. I know Arctic Cat has the DVX400 and a new 650 utility. I was hoping they (Arctic Cat) would get a little balzy and make a lowerend+gearbox to put under their 440 or 500 Firecat engines which are making verygood power 99hp(440) and almost 120hp(500) and they are STOCK. I don't know if Suzuki makes the Firecat engines but if you saw one it would blow your mind. I say that cause they have the intake ports and exhaust ports on the same side of the jug, which I don't understand how it could work (I guess I will have learn more on them). Them engines are also powervalved with batteryless EFI.

I've heard a rumour about a 650 twin...
using the SV540 roadbike engine. The actual model (2003) also has fuel injection!
I've owned one in the past (2001 model) and let me tell you that is one bloody fast engine!!!
A friend of mine taht owned a thundercat (100 hp at the cranck) couldn't keep up with me, except for long straights, where he would eventualy pass me.

Now that would be an awesome Quad! (if they don't detune it like kawasaki did with the V-force).

My guess would be the twin, with Suzuki and Kawasaki joining forces on ATV's and Kawasaki already having a big twin at market.

My first quad was a 300 king quad and I thought it was a great quad just a little under powered. I really liked the idea of locking up the front diff now of course they went away from that and I think they should go back to big power and lockable front diff. I always have liked the format of Suzuki, they could be class leader but decide to take a wait and see attitude. I have hope for Suzuki to come out in front eventually!!!!!!!!
