I hear a lot of people like the handling of the Z better than the EX... Well, all I see here is another flame war.... sittin this one out.

LOL you guys still going at it .. How funny - due to my brother's recent injury sustained on my old Z my sister talked me into buying it back so i have decided that im going to compare the 2 very closely for a few months and get rid of one of them ... from the looks of it so far the yfz may be in trouble due to some recent run-ins that the yfz has been assosiated with in the last week or so .. for instance landing funny on a jump and rolling over forwards and crusing my handlebars , melting my shinplate on my rideboots and catching my pant leg on fire. last but not least the d@mn thing stranded me out in the middle of a trail today and i had to push it 3/4 of a mile back to my truck to figure out what the heck was wrong with it .. its not looking to good for the yfz so far i may just turn my back on it and reclaim my Z .. we will see

 

two of my friends i have yfz's now... on one of them after about 1 week the clutch got burnt out on it... the other one, the clutch cable broke and then it wouldnt start because of a dead battery i presume

 

Nobodies going at it....

I hope Yamaha gets their YFZs running right soon. I know the Z has its issues, maybe even bigger than the YFZ, but it seems that the YFZs malfunction more offen than the Z....

 

Well one of the most major issues to me right now is that i have to get some new lbz's the exaust header on the yfz got so hot the other day that it burned through my pant leg .. i though my d@mn leg was on fire!

 

LMFAO... when I ride, it does get warm down there, but Its never uncomfortable.

 

So what you are really trying to say Insanity, is that if you ride a yfz too hard you might become a flamer?
