Yes the z400 is a great trail machiene it has all the power to have fun and it has reverse

deffinatley.Great trail quad and good race quad.very peppy.It the best 400cc class sport quad out there.Just as good as teh raptor.Better than the 400ex.

Heck yeah, one of the best as far as sport quads go. It's better than the ex in my opinion but mainly because it has reverse. I don't know which is really better a z or a raptor. Most would be happy with any of these three or a predator.

The z is a great over all quad for trail riding, ive had no problem getting through any trails yet

i ride a 400ex, z400, and a raptor quite often on trails and i can honestly say the z400 is the best. i'm not saying its my favorite overall but you cant beat it on trails.

the kfx/z is awesome in the woods and it has reverse cough 400ex cough
