I was wondering first what kind of performance mods can be done to the Quadrunner, i just bought and 87 and am happy with its performance but would like some more low end torque. I was wondering if you can get a pipe for it possibly and what else may be available. Also i was wondering what the difference was between the LT230S and the LT230E, i believe that the only difference is the clutch. Finally, i will be doing a lot of trail riding and hill climbing and would like to get some armor on this quad, so i was wondering where i could find a company that makes skid plates for this. Anyone who has anything on this, help me out, it would be appreciated.

 

The E has an electric starter, different gearing, auto-clutch
The S has a kick starter, manual clutch

You can get DG , cobra and white brothers pipe. You can get High Comp. Piston and cam. probably some others things too

 

You can also get better valves, springs and a better cam. These along with a pipe and carb mods and the 230 will be a lot more responsive and peppy. This will also allow you to pull taller gearing, giving you a higher top speed.
