Default What type of kill switch to use?

Hey,
Im brand new to suzuki and im not having the easiest time. I've own a 440ex and have a predator. The honda was modded to h3ll so i knew what i was doing.. anyways i bought a universal Meijer (sp) kill switch and i wired it as they said " ground the switch and tap into the ignition". that didnt work. SO i called my dealer (cleveland Motorcycle) and Jim told me to wire it right into the ignition so the current has to pass through the switch. That didnt work either. I went up there on saturday again to talk withjthe guy and he said i needed a Closed circuit switch and the only one was a $80 switch. Im not into shovelling out money for this four-wheeler like i did in the past.

anyone have any tips or links to places i can check out?? thanks what are you guys using?
