There is a easy fix for ditching the Reverse Limiter for the Vinson but I haven't of any way to Disable the forward gears Rev limiter.

I have asked the same thing. I haven't done it yet; but here is what I was told. I guess there are a couple of ways. #1. All of the wiring in volved is over the left rear wheel, on your CDI module whitch is mounted on the back of rear storage box. Cut the blue/red wire to the CDI module. Tape the end to the CDI module. Connect the other blue/red end to the striped end of a diode. Connect the non-striped end of the diode to white/red wire[splice into do not cut white/red wire]. Be sure the striped end of the diode or else it won't work. Any of these diodes will work, you can get at radio schack. 276-1101 1N4001 $0.59-----276-1102 1N4003 $0.69-----276-1103 1N4004 $0.79-----276-1104 1N4005 $0.89 US This will completly disable the limiter for good so be sure you want to do this. Your display will work as it did before. # 2. Putting in a switch---unplug blue/red wire from CDI tape wire end and plug CDI opening to keep water out. White wire in dash splice in switch other side of switch goes to ground. Dash will read -- as it is grounded out. #3. Possibly cut blue/red wire same as in #1. except no doide used run a wire from both sides of the cut blue/red wire up to dash or were ever you want easy to reach and connect one side of wire to each side of switch. A [on-off] switch should be able to disable limiter and put it back on. Your display should read normal. I haven't done any of these yet but plan to soon. I was told #1. works for sure. Good luck. This for Vinson Automatic. #3 DOES - NOT - WORK! ---- ---------- I DID IT #2 AND IT WORKS!!! --------------

BlueOne-- We rode our motorcycles though Fifield witch is just south of Park Falls on hwy. 70. Looked like they have a lot of good trails. You should be able to pick up a trail map in that area,a[ Price County ATV Map]. I picked one up for a friend. I've have never rode any of the atv trails there.

Actually it's very easy. All of the wiring involved is over the left rear wheel.

Cut the blue/red wire to the CDI module. Tape the end to the CDI module. Connect the other blue/red end to the striped end of a diode. Connect the non-striped end of the diode to the white/red wire.

I used a 1N4001 diode for a total cost of $0.30.

E-mail me and I can give you even more detail.

Now the vinson is limitless in reverse
