I'm am going to set things straight right now. the z250 and the blaster are made for two different kinds of people. The z250 is better on tight trails while the blaster is better on the track. the suspension on the z is better for woods racing because it is less stiff resulting in a better ride. the blaster suspension is stiffer for more jumping and other track applications. The blaster has a harsh ride at slow speeds. If the trail is about one quad length wide the z would win. if the trail was two quad lengths or wider the blaster would win. both quads are narrow stock but with a flip of the front rims they both handle alot better. No matter what you do to a z250 there will always be a faster blaster.

Wow, roosthrower, giving some credit to the Z250. Cool. I agree with most of what ya said except for the trail riding thing. It would be close on trails. I think the Z has the advantage b/c its suspension keeps the power to the ground. But if the Blaster could get the power to the ground and not get hung up b/c of the ground clearance issue then it will win just b/c it can accelerate faster. There hope that makes you happy too roosthrower.

If ya can't beat em, ya might as well join em.

i want everyone to know im not dissin the Z's or Suzuki in any way. i jus dont understand why they didnt put a manual clutch on the Z250. with its suspension and handling it would make a great MX bike for its class. Everyone is intitled to their own opinion and i stated mine and for that i was jumped all over. u may think the Z250 is better but i like Blasters there lighter, peppier, and jus more fun. i also want to say that yes i have raced Z400's several times and yes i beat a stock Z4000 easily. stock for stock there is no way a blaster would i know that im not totally stupid. but i was jus stating that i like the blaster and asking why u would buy a auto clutch 250 when u could buy a faster manual clutch 200 2 stroke for cheaper and buy a pipe and silencer and have money left over.

its nice to see we are all starting to get along. i have heard of a company that was maybe gonna design a manual clutch for the z250, dont remember the name tho. so that should solve that.

I'm getting the manual clutch for mine as soon as I can. That would be awesome. And yup, we are finally getting along.
