What tire/wheel size should I get? and what brand?

 

What kind or riding are you planing and where?

 

I'm running 18x10x8 Fast Trekkers on Red Lables The hook up is unbeliveable.

 

got the same tire on my zilla and boy do they make a difference over the original stock tires it came with,

the lower profile does a lot for the acceleration, admitedly i dont have any experience of anything else but i wouldnt buy anything else if it didnt have the same profile,


quite fancy some of them spankin carbon fiber beadlockers,

18 inch fast trekkers on 10 inch rims look so cool. they are they are more like 17 inch tires though.

 

yeah i must admit the fast treckers do give it that ready for business look,

 

what gearing are you guys useing when you run the smaller rear tires? i have 18x10x8 on mine with the stock gearing still 12/42.and it revs out way to fast.was think about going to a 13 of 14 front sprocket.what do you guys think??? o hey by the way 250guy i got her running last night and she runs great.still got to dial the carb in a tad....but damn does she vibrate like mad.do they all do that??i guess im spoiled from rideing the raptor...................

 

go up 1 tooth for now and when you buy new tires get 20 inchers.

 

im running 19x6x10 up front and 18x10x8 in back (KEEPING THEM)i think i will try the 14 tooth then go from there.but i just wanted to see what everone else had for a set up and how it performs.thanx for the info roostthrower!!!

 

just running the standard gearing on the zilla, whatever that is, i wanted the lower profile for the acceleration so im more than happy just holding on that little bit tighter
