I'm pretty sure this is it, but don't quote me on it.

Part Number: 43990-03G00-019
Description: GRIP COMP, FRON
$177.07

I think this is the tubing piece that is behind the front grill. You might want to call the place you are ordering from to make sure you get the right part. hope this helps you out.

Kevin,

Where did you find the part numbers? I have a Kawasaki Prairie and the Kawasaki website has microfiche w/ part numbers. Haven't been able to find anything like that for my wife's '03 Vinson. The front black plastic grill (the one w/ the Suzuki emblem on it) is cracked badly and I haven't been able to find a part number for it. Did you buy the Suzuki parts manual?

Try searching for "suzuki parts finder" on google. That's where I find parts for my Z. Good luck

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, none of the parts finders Google found for me carry the Vinson. Found parts for Ozark, z-400, etc... None for Vinson. Oh well... When push comes to shove, there's always the local dealer w/ his overpriced parts :-)

I just pull a fast one with the dealer. I had to use this tactic as a last resort.
If you need part numbers just take it to the dealer and say you need an insurance quote w/ the parts list. Thats how I got those numbers.
I'm pretty close to just buying the manual, so any time I break something I dont have to take it to my dealler.

Nobody that I know of has the Vinson microfiche, which really stinks.

Oh, sorry I forgot the black piece too. Here is the number.

Part Number: 53118-03G00-291
Should be around $55-$60.

I'm still waiting for my parts. because I hit a tree too.
d'oh!

Have you guys tried www.ronayers.com for parts? I got the Kawi service manual for my Prairie 650 from them. It was about $15 less than the Kawi dealer wanted for it. My local dealer quoted me $74.25 for the grill piece today, $58.99 from Ron Ayers.
By the way... Thanks for the part number Kevin! You do need the part numbers to use the online part search at Ron Ayers.
