Default Z400 frame fix

I was wondering if anyone has purchased the Arens Brothers frame brace? Or if there were any onthers out there to consider?

That's the only bolt on one I know of. All the others are weld on gusset kits. I'm going with a gusset kit because it does the whole frame. I don't want to take any chances. As for gusset kits Lonestar makes a pricey kit ($170), but it does the entire frame.

I have the brace. I put in one hard a$$ season in the desert with no frame problems. But, then I got the brace just to hedge my bets. Only thing I don't like is that I hate adding ANY extra weight , especially to the front of the bike.

Where did you get the Arens brace from? I can't find any mail order place that sells them besides calling Arens directly to order one and waiting forever to get it.

Ordered it direct. Did have to wait a couple of weeks.

Do you have pictures of the Arens frame brace? I couldn't find one on their website. I'm having my frame powder coated and wanted to give the weak area some extra support just in case while it's apart.
Thanks!

I was looking at a 2004 Z400 (special ed. in yellow & black) about a week ago. The salesboy told me that Suzuki has improved (or fixed) the frame. Is this true?
